HP mantiene la posición número 1  en unidades de servidores vendidas e ingresos a nivel EMEA en Q1´2011, de acuerdo a un informe anunciado por IDC.(1)

HP ha obtenido el 41%  de ingresos totales del mercado de servidores de EMEA  (x86 y no-x86) y cerca del 50% del total  de unidades vendidas en EMEA en Q1´2011(2). HP aumentó su cuota de ingresos en el mercado x86 en EMEA hasta el 51,6%, superando claramente a sus competidores. Los servidores HP ProLiant han ocupado la primera posición en el mercado de servidores x86 durante 60 trimestres consecutivos, o lo que es lo mismo, el tiempo que IDC ha estado midiendo la cuota de mercado de servidores x86(3).

Según confirma el informe de IDC, HP ha vuelto a ser, con diferencia, el líder en el mercado de servidores Blade de EMEA, donde ha obtenido en el primer trimestre de 2011 un crecimiento de los ingresos de un 12,7%  con respecto al año anterior, hasta alcanzar una cuota de mercado de más del 60% (4).
