Hewlett-Packard s.l. ha anunciado que el grupo alimentación y bebidas español Grupo Damm ha firmado un contrato para que HP continúe gestionando su entorno TI.
Bajo los términos del acuerdo, que amplía cinco años más la relación entre ambas compañías, HP será responsable de la infraestructura TI de Damm al completo, incluyendo servidores, almacenamiento, hardware de comunicaciones, software de gestión y monitorización. Además de mejorar la calidad del producto y la satisfacción del cliente, HP ayudará a Damm a conseguir un crecimiento sostenible y rentable a través de la eficiencia tecnológica.
Fundada en 1876, Grupo Damm produce y distribuye cerveza para el mercado español; sus marcas incluyen Estrella Damm, Voll-Damm, Xibeca y Estrella Levante entre otras; y se encuentran entre las cervezas más populares en el ámbito Español; así mismo cabe destacar del grupo Damm sus negocios de logísticos de distribución y de restauración, como Alfil Logistics y el grupo Rodilla.

La financiación flexible y los servicios de gestión del ciclo de vida de activos, proporcionados por HP Financial Services, permitirán a Damm mantener su hardware y software con una efectividad óptima al tiempo que conserva el capital y optimiza el flujo de caja.
