Para adquirir el estatus OEA, CEVA tuvo que cumplir los estrictos estándares de seguridad y aduanas de OEA. Esto se añade a la acreditación OEA que CEVA obtuvo en Irlanda en 2010.

El concepto de OEA constituye un elemento primordial del Programa de Seguridad Aduanera de la Unión Europea. Quienes poseen el estatus OEA se benefician de simplificaciones aduaneras y de una gestión de las solicitudes por la vía rápida.
