HP Enterprise Services España ha anunciado que el Centro de Telecomunicaciones y Tecnologías de la Información de la Generalitat de Cataluña ha firmado un contrato por 62 millones de euros con HP para la transformación del entorno informático de la Generalitat en una infraestructura basada en Cloud que opere de forma más eficiente, al mismo tiempo que mejora el servicio a los ciudadanos.
Bajo los términos del contrato, firmado el pasado mes de septiembre por un periodo de 10 años, HP trasladará la infraestructura del CTTI desde un centro de datos propiedad del cliente a un entorno Cloud seguro. HP continuará gestionando el entorno informático de la organización al tiempo que lo migra hacia una Cloud privada situada en Barcelona. HP está expandiendo sus servicios de Cloud gestionada a toda España, como una ampliación de su red de Servicios Cloud Empresariales, ya desplegada en otros países europeos.
HP Enterprise Cloud Services – Virtual Private Cloud crea un entorno informático seguro y flexible que permite al CTTI escalar el uso según las necesidades. HP Enterprise Cloud Services – Virtual Private Cloud es un entorno Cloud gestionado que permite la interoperabilidad con otras arquitecturas TI Cloud y tradicionales.
Como resultado de su transformación al Cloud, el CTTI podrá responder más rápidamente a los cambios en las demandas de servicio por parte de los ciudadanos, y desplegar rápidamente nuevos servicios para los ciudadanos y compañías catalanes. La solución de HP soporta los procesos de negocio electrónicos del Gobierno, tales como la plataforma financiera y de compras de SAP. El portal de usuario permitirá el aprovisionamiento de infraestructura para soportar la gestión de contenido para los departamentos gubernamentales y los datos de la presidencia, así como un acceso sencillo para otros departamentos.
